Disney+ Printworks DOOH
We were beyond excited to be able to bring five of Disney+ most iconic titles to life on Printwork's incredible ceiling screens, which are the largest in Europe. They formed a series of experiential takeovers that ranged from epic to cinematic, with comedy and surprise moments too.
We collaborated with our good friends Chicken Fruit Studio to design an out of home experience packed full of incredible moments, with lots of behind-the-scenes magic to make it as impactful as possible - such as ceiling set extensions so characters like Alien and Stitch could 'break' into the space, and large-scale ocean water simulations for Percy Jackson.
Our challenge was two-fold: to make the characters feel at home in each of the ceiling screens, but also to connect the narrative and action to create a truly immersive experience across the space.
At the heart of this placement was the Disney+ branding which was as much of a hero as the characters. The details of the branded interludes were highly considered so that the typography, branded backgrounds and subtle effects were perfectly aligned and comfortable to view in such a large format and at an unusual viewing angle.
This was a wonderful project for so many reasons, but like many of our projects it was the product of deep collaboration, which we love.
The Disney+ creative team had an incredible vision for this placement and they were instrumental in driving the creative and working with us to realise the final results, which we are so very proud of.
